TSR 12/2/19 CBB Picks

Sunday Takeaways

1-Maryland is a force to be reckoned with in the Big Ten. They remain undefeated by dominating Marquette 84-63. Between Anthony Cowan and Jalen Smith, this team can score in all facets of offense. It will not surprise anyone if they are playing for the Big Ten title late in the season.

2-It was promising to see Brendan Bailey get going for Marquette yesterday. The son of Thurl scored 27 points in the defeat against Maryland. After a very slow start to the season, he has played better as of late. If he can get a consistent performance going, he could help Marquette win big games.

3-KJ Lawson is playing fantastic basketball this season for coach Ron Hunter and Tulane. The senior scored a career high 30 points in their win against Southern, the sixth of the year for the Green Wave. He is averaging 16.4 points per game, and appears to finally getting things going after trying to find his way at Memphis and Kansas.

Yesterday's Pick Results (Season Pick Standings can be found here) Zach 8-2 (upset pick of Loyola Marymount (+1) over Southern Utah also won)
Sam 7-3

Nick 6-4
