Michigan State basketball fans were truly hurting after the NCAA Tournament was cancelled back in March, as the Spartans were a legitimate National Title contender in Cassius Winston's final season. Since the offseason began however, things could not have gone better for Michigan State. Today, Max Christie became the third elite prospect to commit to the Spartans, joining Pierre Brooks II and Emoni Bates. Michigan State still is putting the finishing touches on it's 2020-21 roster, as they have two scholarships to finalize, with Xavier Tillman and Josh Langford's decisions still looming. Beyond next season, the Spartans will have those scholarships to fill on a permanent basis, and they took a large step in doing that this afternoon. Pierre Brooks II announced that he would continue his college basketball career at Michigan State on Wednesday, per his Twitter page. Brooks chose the Spartans over a plethora of offers, with Michigan and Xavier being other leading contenders for his services.
