The recruiting news continues to pile up for the Spartans this week. Tyson Watson announced that he would be committing to Michigan State to continue his playing career. The three-star, 6-6/270 defensive end from Warren Mott is a solid addition to the class. Per 247 Composite Rankings, Watson is the #37 SDE recruit and the #16 player in the state of Michigan.

Watson also had considered Indiana, Iowa State, Tennessee and Toledo in his Final 5 schools.
Perhaps fans should have seen this commitment coming, as Watson made a tweet alluding toward a "package deal" back on April 11 with Derrick Harmon, the defensive tackle from Detroit that committed to the Spartans back on Wednesday.
