MSU Football: Kameron Allen Commits to Michigan State for 2021 Class

Michigan State has had some offensive woes within the past few seasons, and the new coaching staff hopes that some new schemes and personnel will fix those issues. In acquiring weapons, tight ends coach Ted Gilbert will be excited to be getting tight end Kameron Allen, who announced on Twitter today that he will be joining the 2021 class.

Allen is a 6-5/220 tight end that comes from North Forney High School in Forney, Texas. He is a three-star recruit, that is ranked #1086 amongst all players nationally. He is the 50th ranked tight end in the class, and he is the 153rd ranked player from the state of Texas per 247Composite Rankings.

The Spartans offered Allen back on March 25, with TE Coach Ted Gilmore leading the recruiting.

The decision to attend Michigan State was made in favor of other schools, such as Arizona, Boise State, Hawaii, Missouri, UCONN and Utah State.

Allen becomes the ninth recruit in the class, and the fifth on the offensive side of the ball. Allen will be paired up with fellow Texas Hampton Fay, who is the quarterback in this class. The 3* Fay hails from Fort Worth and they will look to make an offensive duo in the future.

In his highlight tape, Allen shows the ability to make some catches in traffic, and he also serves as a great end zone target to go up and get a jump ball.
